Affiliate disclosure.
How affiliate links work on katieallred.com: I may earn a commission, including as an Amazon Associate, on products I recommend, at no extra cost to you.
In plain English
Some links on this site earn me a small commission if you buy something, at no cost to you. I only recommend things I've personally used and believe in.
What are affiliate links?
Some links on katieallred.com are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission from the retailer, at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use my link or not.
Amazon Associates
Katie Allred is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. That includes links to my own books.
Elegant Themes (Divi)
I’m an affiliate of Elegant Themes, the company that makes the Divi WordPress theme. If you buy Divi or another Elegant Themes product through a link on this site, I may earn a commission, at no additional cost to you. I’ve used and recommended Divi for client, church, and nonprofit websites for years.
FTC disclosure
Under the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), I’m required to disclose when I have a material connection to products or services I recommend. Affiliate links are that kind of connection, and this page, along with disclosures in the content itself where they apply, meets that requirement.
How I choose what to recommend
I only recommend products and services that I:
- Have personally used or thoroughly researched
- Genuinely believe will add value for you
- Would recommend whether or not an affiliate program exists
Affiliate relationships never influence what I recommend or the content I create. If something isn’t a good fit for you, I’ll say so, even if I’d earn a commission.
Sponsored content
Occasionally I partner with brands on sponsored posts, social content, or collaborations. Sponsored content is clearly labeled “Sponsored,” “Ad,” or “Paid Partnership” at the top. Sponsor compensation doesn’t affect my editorial integrity or the honesty of my reviews.
Where affiliate links may appear
Affiliate links may show up in blog posts, resource pages, emails, and social content, for things like:
- Software and digital tools (community platforms, AI tools, marketing tools)
- Books and online courses
- Business services
If you’re ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, just ask me. I’m always happy to be transparent about how this site is supported.
