Agreeing to these terms

By using katieallred.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. They apply to everyone: visitors, subscribers, and customers.

Age requirements

You must be at least 13 to use this site, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to make a purchase. By buying something, you confirm you meet that age requirement.

Services and products

Katie Allred Consulting, LLC offers:

• Consulting and strategy services, such as community strategy, AI training, brand audits, and website creation
• Keynote speaking and workshops
• Digital products and online resources
• My email newsletter

Descriptions, pricing, and availability can change at any time without notice.

Payment

Depending on the service, payments go through one of these platforms, and their terms apply too:

• Stripe (card payments): Stripe Services Agreement
• PayPal (PayPal account and card payments): PayPal User Agreement
• Venmo (peer-to-peer payments): Venmo User Agreement
• TidyCal (paid session bookings): TidyCal Terms

By paying, you confirm you’re authorized to use that payment method. Prices are in US dollars unless noted otherwise.

Refunds

Services: Consulting and strategy engagements take my time and preparation, so fees are non-refundable once work has begun. If your project hasn’t started yet, contact me within 48 hours of purchase to request a refund.

Digital products: All sales are final. If a technical problem keeps you from accessing something you bought, contact me and I’ll make it right.

Speaking engagements: Cancellation terms are in each speaking agreement.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, and video, is owned by or licensed to Katie Allred Consulting, LLC and protected by US and international copyright law.

Please don’t reproduce, distribute, modify, or build on my content without written permission. Short quotes with credit, for non-commercial use, are fine.

Email list

When you join my email list, you agree to get periodic emails, including newsletters, updates, promotions, and occasional sponsored emails. Unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email. Unsubscribing doesn’t stop receipts and other emails about purchases you’ve made.

What’s not allowed

Please don’t:

• Use this site for anything unlawful
• Copy or redistribute my content without permission
• Try to get unauthorized access to the site or its systems
• Use bots or scrapers to collect data from the site
• Submit false or misleading information in a form
• Do anything that could damage, disable, or overload the site

Privacy and cookies

My privacy policy explains what information I collect and how I use it, and is part of these terms. This site uses Google Analytics cookies (in the EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland, only if you accept them in the cookie banner); you can change your choice anytime under Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including affiliate links. I’m not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms, and you visit them at your own risk.

No warranties

This site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I don’t promise the site will always be available, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Tennessee law allows, Katie Allred Consulting, LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or purchase of services, even if I’ve been told such damages are possible. My total liability for any claim under these terms won’t exceed the greater of what you paid me in the 90 days before the claim, or $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Katie Allred Consulting, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breaking these terms or your use of this site.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute comes up, we’ll first try to resolve it in good faith. If we can’t, it will go to binding arbitration in Nolensville, Tennessee, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or to bring a class action.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms at any time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
