Jesus said, if we follow him then we would have abundant life. What does that look like to you?

For me, it’s knowing my life serves a greater purpose—His purpose. I don’t have to worry about tomorrow because it’s gonna worry about itself.

He has my days planned for me. I can trust him. Rest in him. Believe that when he says he’s with me and that he’s for me, that he ain’t lying because he hasn’t failed me.

Jesus is perfect in all his ways, I just have to trust that his ways are better than my ways. I give up a little (my life) and I gain a lot (Jesus).

Having abundant life means I ain’t ashamed anymore. I don’t carry around these burdens or worries. Death has no grip on my life. God has my days numbered from the beginning and I just want to know that when my day is up that I was in God’s will and living his plan.

That’s abundant. It ain’t perfect. It isn’t stress-free. It’s not without suffering. But it isn’t without purpose and joy and grace and all those things I truly do not deserve.

Can I get a witness?
